Alistair was first elected to Stirling Council in 2003.
From 2007 - 2013 he was the leader of the Conservative group, and from 2012 - 2013 he was Deputy Leader of Stirling Council. He has been the Council's Education Convener since 2012.
He lives in Stirling with his wife, and they have two grown-up children. He works as a Radiation Safety Officer for a FTSE 100 engineering company.
