Stirling Provost Christine Simpson represented the city as The Merchant Guildry of Stirling marked its 900th anniversary 25 Sep 2019 at a special celebration.
The ancient organisation held a black-tie event in Stirling Castle, with honourary Guildry member, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, in attendance.
Attendees were welcomed by the Queen Victoria School Pipe Band and enjoyed a performance from former Stirling Maker Clive Wright.
The Provost said: “It was a privilege to represent the people of Stirling at the Guildry’s 900th-anniversary celebrations".
